Amanda: Hello. Amanda Holmes here, CEO of Chet Homes International. We have your Daily Dose of the Ultimate Sales Machine. I have with me Ted Miller the third, my business partner. Please Ted, can you share another beautiful quote from the Ultimate Sales Machine?
Ted: the deeper you go, the more you will sell. Chapter 10.
I love these steps. Seven steps to a decision making process in making a sale, and there’s a little gem. There’s maybe an… unspoken understanding how to leverage these steps. Well, that chapter 10 goes through to six steps. The seventh step is chapter 11, but the way to navigate these, something that we’ve been able to for the last couple decades, help ala of entrepreneurs best implement from chapter 10 is that this is not linear.
You don’t spend 40% of time building rapport shift to gear, and then only go find needs, shift to gear. Let’s go find some value shift to gear. Let’s go build. No, it’s cyclical. You build a little rapport to justify asking an open-ended question to find their needs. Then you build even more rapport and find even more needs to then build more value. You cycle through again, build more rapport, find even more needs, build even more value so you can start creating desire and making them one in ways you never even thought possible. So these are cyclical steps. Think of that as you’re mapping out your sales process, your go to market strategy, and you’re gonna win every time, no matter if it’s on the phone or online or virtual.
These seven steps always apply. Knowing how to implement them can make the world a difference.
Amanda: I love that. I love how you say that too. I mean, 92% of businesses do not have a sales process, right? So even just knowing that there are seven steps and going back to the seven steps is critical.
Ted: Chapter 10. Maps it up brilliantly. Go get it.
Amanda: There you go. There’s your Daily Dose of the Ultimate Sales Machine.
